Refurbishment of men's shelter dorm
A Salvation Army chapter that provides shelter and resources that men need while they search for employment and permanent housing seeks to refurbish and repair its men’s dormitories, specifically the shower area where only one shower is functioning. The repairs will ensure clients have access to a clean, safe, and dignified space as they work to get back on their feet.
NFL running back Najee Harris will return to the homeless shelter he once lived in with his siblings and mother to update and upgrade the facility. The shelter is part of a multi service agency that serves 15,000 homeless, hungry, and low-income individuals annually and works to eradicate homelessness and revitalize the community through case management, enrichment and job training.
