It truly is a walk to remember. For many NFL hopefuls, Draft Day defines the trajectory of their career, and walking the draft stage Lowe’s helped to build is the most important walk of their lives. Lowe’s will help this year’s top draft picks commemorate this momentous transition into professional football by gifting them a piece of their history: the actual stage they walked. Following the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City, Lowe’s will send each of the NFL rookies who walked the stage a keepsake box with a piece of the stage and a Lowe’s gift card to help them settle into their new home.

As in years past, Lowe’s has donated tools and safety equipment to help Pros build the NFL Draft Theater for the event. The equipment included over 200 hard hats, safety vests and glasses and Kobalt work gloves, over 100 Kobalt leather tool aprons, Valspar paint and three pallets of FLEX power tools and saws.

The presentation of the stage keepsake is a celebration of Lowe’s recent renewal of its partnership with the NFL, which originated in 2019. Under this new multi-year agreement, Lowe’s is now an “Official Community Improvement Partner” of the NFL. The partnership includes multiple co-branded community initiatives in which Lowe’s and the NFL will tackle home improvement projects important to the host city communities around marquee NFL moments.

The first of these projects is taking place this week in Kansas City with Lowe's and the NFL coming together to improve Kansas City Community Gardens, by providing gardening supplies and the volunteer support of Lowe’s red vest associates at the annual Tomato Days event. More details around additional events will be announced at the start of the season.

Lowe’s also works with the NFL through the Lowe’s Home Team, in which players participate in projects in their teams' home cities. Each player's project focuses on giving back to their local communities in unique and impactful ways, from increasing access to shelters and affordable housing, to supporting education and learning, expanding health services and much more.

Earlier this year, Lowe’s continued its longtime partnership with Rebuilding Together at Kickoff to Rebuild, an annual Super Bowl-sanctioned event. More than 200 volunteers from Lowe’s, local contractors and members of the community joined Rebuilding Together to provide essential home repairs for six families in Glendale Arizona’s beloved Ocotillo Rose neighborhood.
