Common Ground Relief is a boots-on-the-ground community organization that has worked to address the impacts of coastal land loss in southeast Louisiana for 25 years. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, Common Ground Relief will enhance its Native Plant Nursery, including repairing and expanding exterior fencing, installing a wheelchair-accessible greenhouse and varied-height seating and garden beds, and laying accessible pathways. This project will enhance the safety, functionality, and accessibility for individuals with varying cognitive and physical abilities, behaviors, and skills.
